My favourite classic actor. I liked him in To Kill a Mockingbird, Spellbound, Roman Holiday, The Keys of the Kingdom and The Guns of Navarone. I only saw the first 15 minutes of Gentleman's Agreement. I really should rent or take this out of the library and also watch some more of his films. He's definitely on my classic cute guys list.

Definitely a classic! And it is really interesting to see the cigarette. They all smoked back then...
I had forgotten that he had the cigarette - it's been a while since I looked at the photos in my scrapbook. I was going to use a different shot but this one is nicer.
He was very handsome and such a man! I plan on posting soon about the differences between movie men back then and the movie stars we have today (who are more boys than men.)
Pam - I'll be looking forward to that post. It's so true that most of the stars today don't seem like real gentlemen.
