Snoopy Christmas Book

Just a quick post today - here's a Peanuts book that I forgot to include in my last post, which had been a special request by Chelly. I was looking through my folder of photos this afternoon and found this. I spent the past 2 hours escaping to my childhood by looking at the pictures of alot of my stuff from back then, including books, knick knacks and stuffed animals. I didn't want to be in the present after my stressful morning at the car dealership where I was getting my Kia fixed because there was a recall on a few things. I then found out a few more expensive things that must be done to it which made me upset. These will have to wait until next month. I will try to be like Pam and think positively and not let all this get to me. Hopefully on Friday I will have more mental energy and time to spend on the computer where reading and commenting on posts will definitely be a priority. Being at that place today for 4 hours totally wore me out.

Thank you so much for these Peanuts posts Lara. Love them! Sorry you had a stressful day at the dealership. My dad had a similar experience earlier this week and he came home exhausted too. But it's cool that you are trying to view it all positively. I'm getting inspired by you and Pam for sure. It's good that we keep reminding each other to have a more positive outlook on each burden that comes before us.

So happy to know such great blog pals. :)

It's awesome that you had your childhood stuff to look at. I wish I had all of mine. You have the best collection of childhood memorabilia.

Chelly - Thank you very much. I enjoy sharing them with you. I used to have even more childhood stuff which I regret getting rid of like stuffed animals and books. I wish that I had magic powers and could get them back and also your things too.

I'm glad that I decided to do a blog. I usually have trouble connecting with people because I'm so shy. I'm very greatful to you and Pam for making me feel so much better about myself. It is nice having blog pals to confide in and be supportive of one another. You both definitely inspire me in many ways too. I seem to be getting more help here than I am even in my therapy sessions

Thanks for the sympathy about my car stress. Monday I'm taking the crapmobile in for an oil change at the Sunoco station and finding out if their prices on those other problems are more reasonable. Hope that your dad is feeling better now - it does feel so draining when things become really stressful.

Aw, you are so sweet. If I had magical powers I'd do the same for you too. :) I hope things go better at Sunoco, fingers crossed. Yes my dad felt better after all the car business was over. In fact he fell into a deep sleep. It really is stressful and I hope it all goes well for you. Thx for asking about him and the car. :)

I'm shy too and blogging helps one write, be creative and even make friends. I'm grateful for you and all my blog friends. You are a great gal Lara and things will just keep getting better for you, no doubt about it. You inspire me too and it's awesome that I have such a nice friend from Jersey online! Yay. Sometimes therapists can't provide healing as much as we ourselves can (I speak from experience). Stay positive and yes keep sharing your great blog posts. :)

Chelly - Your kind words truly cheered me up today. Sometimes the mom and brother stress make me feel pretty hopeless but knowing that I have this blog to share with my friends and also looking forward to hearing from them keeps me from coming undone. It's good to have someone to relate to in the shyness department.I'm so glad that we are friends.

The car is fine now and is also officially mine as of today! It had been in both mom's and my names but since I finally paid it off I was able to switch the registration and ownership to just me. It had to be under mom's name too when I bought it because I was under her insurance policy and couldn't wait the 2 weeks to be approved for my own. My old used car had completely died. Car stuff can be such a major headache.

Pam - Thanks so very much. I kind of had been putting off that oil change so it's a relief that's out of the way. Now for a long overdo trip to the carwash. I hope that you have a wonderful weekend.
