Christmas music

I have such good memories of listening to mom's holiday albums and my Chipmunks one too. I did dub them onto tape but would like to get cds of these and others that we have. I probably will pass on the Chipmunks though. I did get mom 4 holiday cds a few years ago. I'd like to get the Elvis one next. What is some of your favourite Christmas music?

Oooh I love your collection. I have to admit, I loved the Chipmunks when I was younger and so did my mom! :)

But now I prefer Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Burl Ives etc. Faith Hill's Where are You Christmas in one of my faves also.

Johnny Mercer and Margaret Whiting do a fantastic rendition of Baby it's Cold Outside. http://youtu.be/FTNheCEUP_A

There are too many to remember but those are some of my faves! :)

I remember we had a Christmas album dating back to the '60s, which we would always pull out every Christmas. On the cover, it had a picture of Santa Clause dancing with a '60-era swingin' babe. Music was good though: Sleigh Ride, Jingle Bells and plenty of others.

I hope you have a Merry Christmas, a Happy Holidays, and a Great New Year ahead!!!

I hardly listen to holiday's themed music but it could indeed put us on the mood!

lazlo - that album sounds pretty cool. I found one from the late 70's that has disco type holiday tunes on it at a flea market in the mid 90s. I never did play it though. Now you've got me wanting to see if our record player still works so I could hear this.

I haven't been here that much over the past 2 months so sorry it took me so long to respond to this. Thank you so much for the holiday wishes and for all the nice comments that you've left for my posts too which truly make me happy as does reading your posts. Hope that your new year has been a good one so far.
