Knick-Knacks 2- Cardinals

These are my mother's cardinal knick-knacks/collectibles. Some were her mother's, like the plate. She was into collecting cardinals first then Mom did so too. Whenever I see a cardinal, I think of Grandma and Mom.

Our Living Room-1980-1990

This is our living room at our old apartment with various changes throughout the 1980s. I might redo this post because the photos are kind of small. I wanted to do it the easier way from making the photos that I included on a word document into pictures in the Paint section of our computer as opposed to posting all of the images individually. If you click onto each section, you can see a bigger view of them. I was hoping that this would be the case without doing so.

Owl Stuff

My grandmother collected owl items. The first is a bank, but it doesn't have a way to get the money out on the bottom like most do. The second is a cute set of salt and pepper shakers. The knick-knack from Tennessee is one that we bought her in 1983- we traveled through that state on the way home from Florida. We went to The Forbidden Caverns there. The owl spoon rest is from Grandma's trip to California in the late 1970s. About 20 years ago, I started getting into owls a bit and have some T-shirts and jewelry of them- I will be posting those next time.
