My Peanuts Books

I forgot that I even had some of these Peanuts books, except for the one in the top photo and also the It's A Mystery,Charlie Brown. I have many of my books in storage totes because this apartment is smaller in some regards. I had a bigger bedroom and even a living room area in the basement of our old one so I was able to put all my books in cases there. I'm upset with myself for not storing them more carefully, 4 of them got bent out of shape, but I was happy to see that I still have them and the Yogi Bear Goldenbook too. They were such fun to read back when I was a kid. I might just re-read them someday soon.

Wow! Thanks so much for posting these Lara. I'm so excited b/c I adore Peanuts. I used to have "It's a Mystery Charlie Brown" too. I read it like almost 100 times. I wish I still had it. You know what's cool? I just posted some pics from "It Was a Short Summer Charlie Brown" and then came to visit your blog and voila: the same pic on the cover of the book is what i just posted.

Neato!

Oh my gosh! We had that exact same Yogi Bear book. I remember my brother and I just loved it. It was so cool how Yogi and Boo-Boo made snowballs into ornaments! There was just something magical about the whole book!

Thanks for sharing!

I had "It's A Mystery Charlie Brown" and some other hard cover Peanuts books, too. And they're still fun to read!

Chelly - I'm happy that you like my books. It was a pleasure sharing them with you. I've had a love of mysteries ever since I was a kid and read this and also a Scholastic book called Mystery In The Night Woods. I enjoyed seeing your Peanuts post too.

Darryll- Your welcome. I actually had forgotten that I had the Yogi book. It's cool that you had the same one. It's great that you have such nice memories of it. Yogi was my second fav Hanna Barbera character behind Scooby.

Pam - I love that you and Chelly had the same book as me. I came close to selling them at a flea market once and am glad that I didn't. It was fun sharing this photo and the memories of the joy of reading Peanuts books with you both.
