I still have my walkman and dicsman. One of these days I might just save up for an iPod but it's not really a priority. I'd rather save up for a concert ticket.
Omigosh, I had that same Hall and Oates album on cassette, too!
My first "Walkman" was not by Sony, but Panasonic...later I did get a Sony Discman, but it was not as sophisticated looking as yours. :) I still don't own an iPod yet. I just can't justify the price when there are other things I need to spend money on first.
Hi Pam- Thanks, I've been fine. I think that my first walkman might've been a Panasonic too. It lasted longer than the one that I got in the 1990s. I've gone through like 3 discmans in 8 years, and I take care of my stuff - goes to show how crappy things are made these days.
my brother and I love this Hall and Oates album. We saw them in concert in 2005 and were pretty disappointed that they didn't perform Out of Touch from it.
Oh, I got a new fan for American Pickers - my mom. I had it on one day and she decided to watch it too and said that she really enjoyed this.
So cool! I still have my walkman and discman too. I've had a few different versions of the Walkman over the years—I'm pretty sure my first one was a Panasonic too. :)
"Out of Touch" is one of my favorite Hall and Oates songs, too -- I'd be bummed if they didn't perform it!
I have Verizon Fios now so I can watch American Pickers! Speaking of which, long story but my name may appear in the ending credits of an upcoming episode...my blog may get a plug too, but I'm not sure yet.

I am well and hope you are, too!
